Rachel zealously advocates and advises local governments in operating efficiently and diligently to best serve the public and comply with the law.

Rachel has dedicated her career to serving local governments by ensuring they comply with the democratic principles of free, fair, and secure elections and conscientious representation. At the firm, Rachel focuses on advising and representing local governments in election-related matters, FOIA, OMA, and general compliance with the law. Rachel is committed to providing thoughtful counsel to ensure local governments and public entities are operating efficiently and reliably to best serve their communities.

Prior to joining Ancel Glink, Rachel served as a judicial law clerk at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia and as a consultant for States United Democracy Center. Rachel graduated summa cum laude from the University of Miami with a B.A. in History and Political Science.

Rachel earned her J.D. from the George Washington University Law School. While attending law school, Rachel served as an articles editor on the Federal Circuit Bar Journal, was a Dean’s Fellow teaching legal research and writing, served as a research assistant, and was a member of George Washington University Law School’s Mock Trial Board.

In her free time, Rachel teaches and practices yoga, takes spin classes, and enjoys exploring the amazing restaurants, zoos, beaches, and museums in Chicago.
