Maurice C. Hunt

Maurice is a seasoned labor and employment attorney with a robust litigation practice representing management in complex workplace disputes. With years of courtroom and arbitration experience, he manages wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, and wage-and-hour matters from pre-litigation counseling through trial and appeal. Maurice takes a pragmatic, litigation-ready approach and combines strategic risk assessment with aggressive advocacy to achieve favorable resolutions while minimizing workplace and workforce disruption. He has a strong record representing employers before the EEOC and state agencies and leading complex union negotiations.

Before joining Ancel Glink, Maurice served as lead trial counsel in multiple jury and bench trials and has secured favorable verdicts and high-value settlements in both federal and state courts. He routinely conducts internal investigations, advises on employment policies and compliance, drafts executive employment and separation agreements, and counsels clients on union-related and collective bargaining issues.

He proudly served six years in the U.S. Navy as a Fleet Marine Force (FMF) Corpsman, providing frontline combat medical care, leading lifesaving missions under pressure, and developing disciplined leadership, crisis management, and teamwork skills.
