Kevin L. Sterk

Kevin concentrates primarily on representing local governments and employers in the day-to-day issues that arise, including their corporate, employment, real estate, and litigation matters. Along with his governmental clients, Kevin represents politicians and candidates in election law matters. Kevin also represents select private individuals, businesses, musicians, and artists in civil and criminal matters, ranging from disputes amongst business partners to first-degree murder cases. His extensive experience representing a wide array of public and private clients affords his clients a unique and eclectic perspective that consistently culminates in favorable outcomes.

Currently, Kevin serves as City Attorney for Northlake and Township Attorney for Taylorville Township. He also serves as counsel for numerous municipalities, townships, school districts, park districts, special agencies, and local unions. He is a member of the Illinois Township Attorney’s Association, Illinois Local Government Lawyer’s Association, and Chicago and DuPage County Bar Associations. Previously, he served as an adjunct professor at Kendall College and is frequently asked to speak to clients and professional organizations.
