Katrina has extensive experience defending employers in Workers’ Compensation claims. She is a tenacious advocate who prides herself on being detail-oriented and cost-conscious.
Katrina is a Senior Counsel with the Workers’ Compensation team. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University in 2001. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor at UIC Law School in 2008.
Katrina has been defending municipal and private employers since 2009. She gained valuable experience as in-house counsel for an insurance company specializing in workers’ compensation and civil litigation defense. She then focused exclusively on representing employers in workers’ compensation matters in the private sector.
Katrina is a zealous advocate for her clients. She is dedicated to obtaining the optimal outcome and has a strong record of favorable case resolutions. She is a savvy negotiator but does not hesitate to defend employers through the trial and appeal process when appropriate.
Hobbies
Katrina loves spending time with her family and friends, including the 4-legged furry ones. She enjoys reading, crafts, board games, puzzles, and crochet. Her favorite vacation was a Kenyan safari capped off with mountain gorilla trekking in Uganda.
