Daiana R. Man
Associate
Daiana is a diligent advocate who uses her skills and expertise to approach legal problems with a comprehensive and strategic mindset.
Prior to joining Ancel Glink, Daiana practiced at a Chicago civil defense law firm where she handled commercial, construction, premises liability, product liability and transportation claims. Her core competencies include litigation, advocacy, and analysis. She has prepared and argued dispositive motions, in cook and collar counties, leveraging her skills and expertise to achieve positive results for her clients. Prior to her defense work, Daiana also served as an Assistant State’s Attorney with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office where she gained extensive experience litigating trials and evidentiary hearings.
Daiana earned her Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law, where she was on the Dean's list, won several CALI awards, was an active member of the DePaul Appellate Moot Court Society, and was a senior research staffer to Emeritus Professor John F. Decker. During law school, Daiana was a judicial extern with the Honorable Judge John Robert Blakey where she was responsible for conducting research and drafting opinions on dispositive motions, including a motion for summary judgment concerning Title VII claims. Daiana attended Loyola University, where she graduated magna cum laude, and received her B.A. in Political Science and International Relations.
During her free time, Daiana enjoys reading, exploring new spots in Chicago, and spending time with family and friends.
