Katherine Takiguchi
Associate
Katherine practices municipal and general litigation at Ancel Glink. She has extensive experience in insurance defense litigation, including defending insurance carriers and their insureds in matters involving automobile and truck collisions, worksite injuries, premise liability, and housing authority regulation and compliance.
While in law school, Katherine worked in The John Marshall Law School’s Veteran Legal Support Center, assisting veterans with benefit administration claims and discharge upgrades at the appellate level.
Katherine earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Purdue University and her Juris Doctorate from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago. She is an active member of the Young Lawyer’s Section of the Chicago Bar Association as well as the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois.
In her free time, Katherine enjoys traveling, live music, running, raising funds for ALS research, and spending time with friends and family. Katherine is also a member of the Purdue Alumni Club of Chicago and the ALS Association of the Greater Chicago Area.
