Katherine Nagy
Associate
Katherine specializes in corporate law advising local governments on a wide variety of issues.
Katherine attended Michigan State University, majoring in Communication and minoring in Spanish, before attending the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign College of Law, where she was a student ambassador for the law school and a member of the Women’s Law Society.
While in law school, Katherine developed her passion for municipal law while clerking for the City of Chicago legal department, where her work predominantly consisted of preventing litigation against the City. Katherine spent her last year of law school working at the City of Champaign’s in-house legal department. While working for the City of Champaign, Katherine learned firsthand about the broad spectrum of a municipality’s needs and how to best address them.
In her free time, Katherine enjoys going on walks with her dog, watching Michigan and Illinois sports games with friends and family, and finding new restaurants in Chicago to try.
