Carissa A. Townsend
Associate
Carissa is an associate in the firm’s litigation group.
She has extensive experience in representing Fortune 500 companies in a variety of areas. Carissa has defended clients on personal injury matters, insurance litigation, employment disputes, privacy compliance, and biometric retention issues. She has experience in advising clients of legal issues impacting business operations. She has prepared clients for trials, arbitration hearings and depositions. She also has experience in advising clients on compliance with Title VII of the Civil Rights 1964 Act of 1964.
Through zealous advocacy, she has consistently obtained positive results at arbitrations and has resolved many cases prior to trial.
She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and her Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center.
